Brodick Golf Club

• 18 Holes - Par 61 - Length 4,332 yards
• Located at the North end of Brodick on the A841
• Mixture of parkland and coastal terrain. The course is flat.
• The course can be tougher than the figures suggest
• Green fees - from £25 to £38 for the first round
• Catering - Full catering service
• Pro shop - Yes

Corrie Golf Club

• 9 Holes - par 62 - Length 1,948 yards
• Located 7 miles North of Brodick, just north of Sannox village
• Inland course - can be challenging, especially if it's windy
• Green fees - £15
• Catering - Coffee shop

Lamlash Golf Club

• 18 holes - par 64 - Length 4,640 yards
• On the A841 just North of Lamlash village
• Close to the coast set on a hillside
• Many long par 3's and some tricky par 4's can make this a serious challenge
• Price - £22 to £28
• Catering - Restaurant
• Shop - Yes

Lochranza Golf Club

Lochranza

• 9 holes
• Located at the South end of Lochranza
• Located at the top of the loch the course is flat
• Can be challenging and demanding with a need for good control
• Green fees - £18 with plenty of other ticket prices
• Catering - Restaurant with food available all day
• Shop - No

Machrie Bay Golf Club

• 9 Holes - par 33 - Length 2,278 yards
• Located in Machrie village on the west coast of Arran
• Located next to the coast the course is quite flat
• Club also has tennis courts and putting
• Green fees - £16
• Catering - Cafe under new management on 2010
• Shop - No

Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club

• 12 holes - Par 42 - Length 2,787 yards
• Located on the edge of Blackwaterfoot on the West coast of the island
• The course has been ranked as one of the top 100 golf courses in Britain for the last 2 years
• The club also has tennis courts and bowls
• Green fees - £20 to £25
• Catering - New tearoom opens in 2010

Whiting Bay Golf Club

• 18 holes - Par 63 - Length 4,063 yards
• Signed from the middle of Whiting Bay village
• Parkland course - Holes 8,10 and 11 being especially tricky
• Stunning views over Holy Island
• Green fees - £21 to £24
• Catering - Snacks
• Shop - Yes
